| Although it costs a little more than the original Expedition jogging
stroller, the Expedition LX from Baby Trend sports some great
new design features that really do make life easier, and more
comfortable, for baby and parents alike. For starters, the new
multiposition padded seat offers far more versatility and enhanced
comfort for baby--a big improvement on the simple upright and
horizontal positions previously available in the original. Mounted
on 16-inch, all-terrain bicycle tires, the Expedition LX also
has a new see-through parent tray so Mom and Dad can conveniently
keep an eye on baby while on the go. The stroller moves very
smoothly and has a solid feel to it. However, the stroller's
fixed wheel can sometimes make it a little difficult to maneuver
around sharp turns and corners. Like the original, the Expedition
LX folds compactly for storage and travel, has lots of storage
space, and comes with a sturdy five-point harness, a hand brake,
and a safety tether. On the down side, the cord on the hand
brake is positioned very close to the handlebar, and some parents
found that as a result, the cord would often rub against their
hand while they pushed the stroller. |
