Panasonic's Nitrix series SC-AK320 shelf system features an aggressive new design that takes its cue from the world of car audio, with fearless hot-rod styling, bold red accents on the speakers, and a powerful sonic punch that's sure to shock the senses. The SC-AK320 is also available in a silver version.
The SC-AK320 packs a five-CD changer, a dual-well cassette deck, a digital tuner with 30-station (15 FM, 15 AM) presets, and 110 powerful watts per channel. It offers compatibility with CD-R/RW discs and can play MP3 digital audio files. MP3 functions from remote control include ID3 tag display, album skip, and title search.
A snazzy spectrum analyzer offers a visual representation of different music's frequency components in real time. Super Sound EQ selectively boosts the low, medium, and high frequencies at the touch of a button, as needed with different music or environments. The two three-way speakers use 6.5-inch woofers. The system also includes a programmable timer with sleep mode and a wireless remote control.
