Sony CD Changer CDPCX355 300-Disc MegaStorage
The CDPCX355 300-disc CD changer puts hours upon hours of music at your fingertips with features like cross-fade sound, text display, and an organization feature that makes it easy to find your favorite songs and albums. The CDPCX355 plays audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, and you can program it to play CDs or tracks one by one, in random order, or in your own customized track order. You can create up to 8 different groups of CDs to quickly jump to certain styles of music or a favorite collection of songs. A hit list memory feature allows you to return to your 32 most frequently played songs instantly. You can browse through all of your CDs by name, so you'll never lose track of what CDs are in the player or what order they are in. You can also custom-label CDs stored in the CDPCX355 for quicker retrieval. The CDPCX355 includes a jog dial control that gives you quick access to individual CDs or tracks. With the jog dial, you can listen to snippets of music or skip tracks you don't like quickly.
For power users or music lovers with a deep library of CDs, the CDPCX355 can synch up with another CD changer. You'll never have to wait for a disc to change to keep the music playing, thanks to a cross-fade feature that brings the audio of one CD down at the same time that a new disc starts to play. By adding a second changer, you can expand your instant access to up to 600 CDs total, and both changers can be controlled by a single remote.
The hybrid pulse digital-to-audio converter reproduces a warm, natural sound from your CDs, making you feel like you were there when the music was recorded. You can easily connect the CDPCX355 to an audio receiver with both analog RCA-type and digital optical outputs. An analog connection instantly synchs the CDPCX355 to another changer, and a Control A-1II cord links the CDPCX355 to any other Sony components in your audio system or home theater. A headphone jack is also featured.

Harman Kardon CD Changer FL8385 5-Disc
This five-disc CD changer from Harman Kardon keeps the music flowing throughout the day or evening, providing an uninterrupted soundtrack while you work, entertain, or just hang out on the sofa. The FL8385 offers a number of advanced programming features, including options to create playlists of selected tracks, play discs in random order, or scan tracks to find your favorite selections. The device also features High-Definition Compatible Digital (HDCD) decoding; HDCD discs offer a detail and fidelity far beyond that of standard CDs.
The FL8385 plays CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs, any of which can be switched out while another disc is playing. The unit also offers discrete on/off power buttons on the remote control to ensure compatibility with custom home systems. The changer connects to your digital receiver or digital-to-analog converter via the coaxial digital output, ensuring clean, consistent sound. The unit includes a headphone jack with a separate level control and a remote, and carries a two-year warranty on parts and labor.

Panasonic CD Changer SC-PM29 5 Shelf System
Panasonic's SC-PM29 executive microsystem offers style and power, pumping 70 watts per channel from its sleek, black-and-silver casing. The SC-PM29 includes a single-well cassette recorder and a five-CD changer with Panasonic's exclusive MASH (multi-stage noise shaping technology) 1-bit digital-to-analog converter for clear, accurate sound reproduction. And the system plays not only prerecorded CDs but home-brewed CD-Rs and CD-RWs filled with MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) files.
The quick and quiet disc-changing system swaps CDs in as little as four seconds, so your next listening selection is never more than a few seconds away. Listening in random-play mode helps present tracks from different discs more seamlessly than other changers are able to. A feature called Compression Digital Re-Master Processing compensates for the high harmonic frequencies lost through the MP3 and WMA compression, resulting in more natural-sounding music. In some cases, standard CDs and other sources will also benefit from this processing.
To ensure powerful, clear, and virtually distortion-free audio, the system features a bi-amplified, biwired configuration, which splits the amplifier's labor to independently power each speaker driver for more efficient power usage. Super Sound EQ boosts the low, medium, and high frequencies at the touch of a button for a dynamic boost in sound without complicated EQ adjustments, while four preset equalizer curves are also included.

Other features include a drift-free, digital-synthesized tuner with 30-station (15 FM, 15 AM) presets, TPS (Tape Program Sensor, which lets you search forward or backward across up to nine cassette songs), detachable speaker grilles (in case you prefer the look of naked tweeters and woofers), and a multifunction remote control.
